SPORTS PHYSICALS – Sport physicals for the 2012-2013 school year will be held here at Providence Catholic on May 26 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the gym.  The cost is $25 per student.  Checks can be made payable to Newsome Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Centers.  Physicals will be conducted on a first come – first serve basis with no exceptions.

Turf in '12 Campaign in full swing

On September 30, at the home football game, Fr. Richard McGrath formally announced that PCHS will be running a campaign to install synthetic turf and a new polyurethane track.

Important NEW information regarding Head Traumas and Injuries
PCHS is implementing a new program to help manage concussions and other problems in the unfortunate event that one of our students experiences an injury.

Please be sure to read the document below carefully and return the form to our Athletic Trainer Mr. Pat White.

Athletic participation is an important ingredient of the high school experience. More than 85% of the students at Providence Catholic participate in a sport or activity.

Providence offers 21 different sports (Freshman through Varsity levels) for boys and girls.

In order to participate, practice or compete in any sport or activity, students must have passing grades. Providence prides itself on the fact that our student-athletes are leaders in the classroom and on the playing field.

Conferences
Providence is a member of IHSA, the Chicago Catholic League (CCL) for boys' teams, and the East Suburban Catholic Conference (ESCC) for girls' teams.
