SOmE SLAmmiN’ guiDeliNEs:

  • Minimum of 10 lines

  • Required:  Submit  an entry form

  • You have to submit a copy of your poem
            at time of sign-up

  • Deadline for entry:  Monday March 30

  • Get an entry form from your English
              teacher
    or in the Library.

HoW WilL I bE “jUdGed”?

How well you perform your poem:  
How you use your
voice: speak clearly

No mispronunciations, speak loud enough to be heard, make eye contact with the audience.  

Use emotions!  Make us feel what the poem is about! Use gestures and don’t be afraid to move around!
