Congratulations to the Providence Catholic
Varsity Boys' Soccer team who defeated Normal (Community)
2-1 in the second overtime on Wednesday,
October 28!
The Celtics now advance
to Sectional finals
in Edwardsville on
Saturday, October 31
at 1:00 PM.
Kevin DeFilippis scored both goals for the Celtics,
which were his first of the season. Brian Cichon and
Connor O'Brien each had an assist. Alec Pickett made 9 saves in
net, several that saved the game!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Varsity Boys'
Soccer team who defeated Joliet Township 3-1 on Friday,
October 23 to win the Regional Championship. Ian Land,
Kevin Graham, and Connor O'Brien each scored and Kevin
DeFilippis had an assist. Alec Pickett had 8 saves in net.
This brings the Celtics to 12-8-4 for the season.
