Congratulations to the three Varsity Hockey players named as
Chicago Catholic League All-Stars for this past season: Ralph
Vennetti (’10); Kevin Atwood (’11); Colin Doyle (’11). These
players will be honored at Game Two of the Kennedy Cup Finals at
Southwest Ice Arena this Thursday, March 11
at 7:55 PM.

State Champs!
 Congratulations
to the Varsity Hockey team on their exciting State Championship
overtime victory last night over Highland Park 6 – 5.
The State Championship was in the White Division of the
AHAI/Blackhawk Cup for High Schools. The team went down 2-0 in
the first period and was forced to play catch up the entire game
before winning in overtime. Seniors Chris Godfrey and J.J.
Golinvaux each scored twice with Godfrey netting the tying goal
and Golinvaux the overtime winner. The team would like to thank
all of the people who came out to cheer them on to the
championship. This is Providence’s 1st state championship in
Hockey.
